We’re delighted to deliver three exciting Labour Market Partnership projects in the Mid Ulster & Mid & East Antrim regions.
The projects are funded by the Department for Communities and have been designed to meet the local employability needs, identified in each Council’s local Action Plan 2025/26.
Network Personnel’s Mid Ulster LMP projects are as follows:
The Employer Led Disability Inclusion Programme will engage with a number of prominent Mid Ulster employers to identify their recruitment needs and to educate them on the benefits of recruiting a diverse and inclusive workforce. 18 local participants with disabilities or long-term health conditions will be ‘matched’ to employers, with the goal of securing meaningful and sustainable work. Training and access to relevant grants/supports will be facilitated by Network Personnel.
The Employability Programme will support 75 individuals living in the Mid Ulster area back into employment. This programme will provide tailored support and training to help participants gain the skills and confidence they need to re-enter the workforce. Participants may be unemployed/long term unemployed, under-employed or at risk of redundancy and reside in Mid Ulster; or economically inactive (including due to long term ill-health or disability, caring commitments, early retired, or any other reason).
In addition to the above, both projects will provide employability support, advice and guidance (via one to one mentoring and group workshops) to participants.
The programmes are completely free to join and places are limited. For more information please contact us by email at referral@networkpersonnel.org.uk or by telephone on 028 7963 1032.
Network Personnel’s Mid & East Antrim LMP projects are as follows:
The Insight Youth Academy will be an inclusive training and placement programme for up to 10 young people aged 16-24 aimed at bridging skills gaps and creating employment opportunities with a particular focus on supporting those who may not be pursuing further or higher education.
The Insight Youth Academy is funded by Mid and East Antrim Labour Market Partnership and Michelin Development Fund and delivered by Network Personnel. The academy was developed in response to growing discussions about youth unemployment and the transition from school to the workforce; the programme blends personalised mentoring, accredited and vocational training, practical employment support, proactive employer brokerage, workplace experiences and regular personal development activities.
Participants will benefit from:
- Accredited skills training in areas such as OCN NI Level 1 Employability Skills, Occupation/Industry-specific courses and short industry standard courses enhancing the participants immediate employability across key sectors.
- Hands-on experience through work placement opportunities, job shadowing or volunteering with partner employers.
- One-on-one coaching and mentorship to support each individual’s personal development and goal setting.
- Direct pathways into employment, apprenticeships or further training opportunities.
- Financial incentives for completing training.
Applications to this programme are now closed.
