New Employment Programmes Launched in Mid Ulster

Network Personnel is delighted to announce the launch of three new employment programmes offering support to businesses and residents in the Mid Ulster District Council area.  The programmes are funded by the Department for Communities will be delivered by Network Personnel through Mid Ulster’s Labour Market Partnership. 

An Employer Led Disability Programme will work with local employers to provide support and employment opportunities for 20 unemployed, economically inactive or underemployed Mid Ulster residents with a disability or long-term health condition who are ready to move back into employment.

Two new employment academies will each offer 20 participants the opportunity to access sector specific training and employment opportunities the Health & Social Care/Classroom Assistant or Hospitality and Tourism sectors. 

To take part in the Health & Social Care/Classroom Assistant or Hospitality and Tourism employment academies you must:

  • live in the Mid Ulster District Council area
  • be unemployed, economically inactive or underemployed and motivated to move into employment in the next 6 months
