New Eligibility Criteria for our Community Family Support Programme
Our Community Family Support Programme (CFSP) is a holistic approach where we help the family address health, social and economic needs which are causing problems in accessing education, training and employment
We do this by working alongside the participant / family in the home if necessary, or wherever participants are most comfortable. We help to address the issues the family are coping with to help improve motivation, confidence and get ready to enter training or employment, the end goal sustainability through empowerment.
Each family participating on the programme must have at least one person aged 16 or over who is not in education or training or working more than 16 hours per week.
The family may have concerns to be addressed (employment, educational, training, health, social and economic) and is volunteering to develop their capacity to improve their lives. In addition to our core support service we have excellent facilitators in CFSP who work with participants on 1:1 or small groups, whatever most appropriate, the participant gains OCN accredited qualifications, and it’s all done easily and amalgamated into the workshop through the sessions, so there is no pressure with homework, and specialist support is available.
CFSP is fully funded, including the training and certification, through NI European Social Fund, Investment for Growth and Jobs Programme.
We offer free training with OCN Accreditation on numerous qualifications including:
- Essential Skills- Literacy / Numeracy / Computers
