At Network Personnel, we support people to develop the skills, confidence, and experience they need to move forward in a way that works for them. We understand that everyone’s journey is different, and that returning to learning, training, or employment can feel challenging, particularly for those who have been out of the labour market for some time or who face additional barriers. Our person-centred approach ensures that support is tailored to individual circumstances, strengths, and goals, helping participants take manageable, positive steps towards progression.
Skills development sits at the heart of everything we do. We work with participants to recognise their existing abilities and identify areas they would like to develop, supporting them to build practical, transferable skills. This includes essential and digital skills, sector-specific knowledge, and access to accredited and non-accredited qualifications. Alongside this, we focus on building confidence, motivation, and wellbeing, recognising that personal development is a key part of becoming ready to learn or work.

Our support is delivered through a flexible mix of one-to-one guidance, mentoring, group workshops, and structured learning activities, allowing participants to learn in ways that suit them best. We also help people access further education, training opportunities, and specialist services where needed, ensuring they are connected to the right support at the right time.
For those who want hands-on experience, we support engagement in volunteering, work placements, and employer-led activities that help build confidence, routine, and real-world skills. Throughout the journey, our experienced team provides ongoing encouragement and practical support, helping participants set realistic goals and recognise their progress. By creating a supportive and inclusive environment, we help people build skills, strengthen their sense of purpose, and move closer to employment, self-employment, or further learning.
