We believe that getting the right training and skills is the non-negotiable key to a gaining and sustaining a job.

Start your own business

If you are unemployed or economically inactive and considering starting your own business we offer guidance and support tailored to your individual needs to help you develop your business idea and start your own business.

Other Support Services

We recognise that everyone’s circumstances are different. We aim to help by giving additional support and guidance to groups of people who may have domestic and social issues which may be affecting their future prospects.

For employers

Offer an unemployed person a work experience placement for 30 hours per week. Find out more
Employ a First Start participant (18-24 year old) for a minimum of 30 hours per week for 6 months and receive reimbursement for a percentage of their wages. Find out more
Earn an Employer Subsidy for six months for employing someone who is unemployed. Find out more
